Forecaddie VIP: Mickey Novak

Mickey is a golf industry veteran and insider on many levels. He turned pro in 1978 and played mini-tours until a golfing accident in Feb 79 dashed his hopes for a future career as a PGA Tour player. Mickey became an assistant pro at Kendall Lakes CC in Miami ('79-'82) then decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and established a mobile club repair business traveling with the PGA and LPGA tours for the next fourteen years. Mickey also worked for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Orlando doing club repair and fitting. In 2002, he founded and launched C-Thru Grips, Inc. and is a frequent contributor to the Forecaddie.
